EQ Dance Co. is a dance theatre company of dance artists, working in collaboration to create and deliver dance experiences with impact based in the UK around themes of mental health and the human experience

Led by David West  a Neurodivergent Choreographer & Producer, and the Artistic Director of EQ Dance Co. 

​

His choreographic style is dance theatre based using both contemporary, and street dance styles movement vocabulary.

 EQ Dance Co connects freelance artists with a group of talented dancers to explore and enliven creative ideas. 

​

EQDC was founded in 2018 in London and been creating work focused on mental health and the human experience ever since. With the company operating in hubs across the UK with their main hub in the West Coast of Scotland after our Artistic Director David moved back to Argyll and Bute in 2020

EQDC mainly focuses in repertoire , but has and will continues

to produce different platforms and services also dedicated to dance and mental health for our audiences and participants. 

 

To this effect, and as we come up to seven years of operating in the arts community we have transitioned into a  C.I.C (Community Interest Company) with the hopes of expanding into more community focused projects to engage with West Coast of Scotland and beyond.
