EQ DANCE CO is currently looking for a supporting director
KEY INFORMATION
RESPONSIBILTIES
Supporting Director will serve a 1-year term ( with option to review/continue role towards end of contract)
Attending quarterly meetings throughout the year (which can be discussed if accepting into position)
FEE
This is a voluntary position but per diems & travel reimbursement is available. Remote working via Zoom is also optional.

ABOUT US
EQ Dance Co is a newly formed C.I.C have previous operating in a sole trader capacity run by Artistic Director David West for the last 7 years.
Now the company is transitioning to becoming a micro-org/C.I.C we are keen to create more sustainability in the company future to help establish and expand the projects in the areas and communities, and freelancers we work with in the UK.
Role
The Supporting Director will:

Uphold the principles of open-mindedness to ensure the best direction of communities we work with

Supporting director will advocate for and promote the the mental health and wellbeing messaging that EQ Dance Co promotes.

Supporting director will actively participate in the EQDC’s project planning.
​

Supporting director should be active members in UK communities in mental health & wellbeing and/or performance art.

Meetings

Attendance is compulsory at 4 meetings throughout the year (quarterly) unless there is a justifiable reason (e.g. illness, touring).

The supporting will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses, but option for remote meetings
Selection Criteria and How to Apply
The selection criteria will take the following aspects into consideration:

Active member of the performance art community in the UK

Able to work and live in the uk
